Glossybox: March

I'm back from my trip to Budapest now! (it was amazing btw, will upload pics soon) and it wasn't long after I got back that my second Glossybox arrived..good timing!

I've been super excited to take my photo's for this post that I've left everything in the box and waited until natural daylight, cause that's when they look super bright and clean!

So let's get into it and show you what's inside this months Glossybox

The first product is the Naobay Moisturizing Peeling  facial milk (RRP £13). It's natural and organic which is something I really like in a product! It has peeling particles from the Acai palm tree and gently exfoliates the skin. I'm super excited to try this, it smells really nice! And the lid is made from bamboo which is a really nice touch.

Next is the Essence Lash Princess volume mascara (RRP £3.30). It has a curved wand to help grab every lash to create more volume. The packaging is super cute and I'm always trying new mascaras!

This Dove Advanced Hair Series shampoo and conditioner is for anti-ageing hair (RRP £5.99 each). It says it's supposed to hydrate and repair brittleness in your hair making it stronger and sleeker. I can't wait to try this, i'm lacking a lot of sleekness in my hair and hopefully this solves it!

I'm obsessed with nail polish so when I saw this in the box I was so happy! And it's a perfect pink shade which is perfect for me as it's my favourite colour. It's the ncLA nail varnish in the shade 'Like... Totally Valley Girl' (RRP $16). Definitely painting my nails this colour tonight.

Last of all is the Sleek Pout Paint in the shade 'Rosette' (RRP £4.99) it's also available in Superdrug. I'm not a massive lip colour wearer but i'll still give this a go! It looks like a nice colour but a little dark for me I think, although I haven't tried it yet. It's designed to be applied softly for a light stain. So maybe it doesn't come across this dark on the lips!

I think the majority of the products in this months box are a lot more me, stuff I'd pick up on a shopping day which I really love. I'm so happy with it and I'm already counting down the days for my next one to arrive. If you're subscribed to Glossybox, which was your favourite product? Have you tried any yet?

Thank you for reading!

New: Benefit Roller Lash Mascara!

I'm back after a massive break of blogging, I've missed it so much and managed to buy a new laptop in January. Treated myself massively to a Macbook Pro! Now I can come back to blogging.

Anyway, there seems to be a massive hype around the Benefit Roller Lash recently. I was so excited to hear that you get a sample size version in Elle magazine, I loved Benefit they're real so could expect nothing but magic from this mascara. This mascara claims to lift your lashes, curl them and make your eyes look more wide open. Which is everything we want in a mascara!?
I'm always skeptical with new mascaras, I don't have the one 'Holy Grail' mascara that everyone seems to have for years. I've never had that but I jump at the chance to try one that I've never tried before.

When I tried this mascara this morning I instantly fell in love with it. It really lengthens my lashes. I didn't use an eyelash curler just to see if it really did give my lashes the curl it claims to give. My lashes are quite short and straight so the curl really didn't happen to my lashes, so I'll use my eyelash curler in future. But I am so pleased with the result of this mascara and recommend that everyone goes out and buys Elle magazine and see what you think.
I've inserted some pics below of the wand and the packaging and also the effect it gives on my lashes. The photo's don't really give it justice, I promise my eyelashes look longer in person!

I'm definitely going to buy the full size when it's released in March.

June favourites

This month I got a kitten dress from eBay for £25. You can get it from the shop 'Ark' (ark.co.uk) but it's a lot more expensive on their. It was from Japan but it didn't take as long as the estimated delivery date would be which was really good :)
The black bow on the front is detachable, it's a safety pin so you can take it off if you prefer it like that! The dress is so so comfy and I could live in it. Every day I'm praying that this awful English weather brightens up so I can actually wear it!

I got this adorable kitten dust plug, also from eBay for only £1!! It's so cute and helpful at the same time. I've had problems with my earphone jack due to dust getting in and playing up with the sounds but having these actually work :) So you can help your phone and make it look adorable at the same time ;)

In Leeds there's a bridge with loads of padlocks attached to it so we decided we would add our own. We wrote on it our names, the date we got together and the date we added it to the bridge (that's on the back of the lock) We thought it would be a cute idea to go back to it and it still be there in some time to come :)

I bought this Rimmel London scandal flex mascara for £5 which I thought was cheap considering branded mascaras are usually £8+ and I didn't want to spend over £10 on a mascara.
This one looks so much better when you put a few layers on, it makes your lashes longer and thicker. It also makes them really smooth and not like sometimes when your eyelashes feel really stiff from the mascara :)

A monthly favourite place to eat of mine is definitely 'Barburrito' you should all go when you pass or have the chance. They do nachos, tacos, burritos and burrito bowls! I always get the nachos with cheese and jalapenos, they're so addictive! The best nachos I've ever had and I would go every day if I could, also they cost under £3 too so that's really good because you get quite a lot.

I know Monsters Inc didn't come out this year but I absolutely love it and can't wait to go see Monsters University which does come out this month! I adore anything Disney and this film is just amazing.

I didn't buy these this month but I've been using them most this month :)
The nail fan is from eBay, it was 99p and 79p postage! It's really good quality too. You get 50 nails on it and so far I've done a strawberry, a dreamcatcher, an 8 ball and the flower pattern on the Arizona green tea bottle.
The nail wheels were £1.37 and free postage! You get 5 of them too so the price is really good and they're also really good quality! What you can see here are the only ones I've painted on the wheels so far.
On the left I'm concentrating on doing the whole wheel full of Disney designs! So far I've done Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc, an Ace of hearts card from Alice In Wonderland, the cloud patterned wallpaper from Toy Story, a Stormtrooper from Star Wars (just for anyone that doesn't know, Disney bought Star Wars), an alien from Toy Story, red and white polka dots to represent Minnie Mouse and a small house silhouette with balloons from Up!

The nail wheel on the left I've just done random ones I wanted to try! So far I've done a minion from Despicable me, a Pokeball from pokemon (obviously), an attempt at the melting effect, a rainbow, a pink cupcake and just a random pattern with a flower on the side :)

The dotting pens I also bought from eBay, they were £1.45 and 99p postage. Theyre so easy to use and I've used them on all of the designs in the picture, they all have different size tips depending on what you're wanting to draw :)

It's so fun to do so if you enjoy painting nails and trying out different patterns I really recommend you invest in some of these!
