Ciaté foil manicure tutorial

This blog post is going to be about the foil manicure I recently purchased online! I absolutely love doing things with my nails using different tools and patterns but I wanted to try something new. I came across the Ciaté foil manicure and thought it looked amazing so I purchased it!

There are 3 different themes/colours you can pick from, mine is 'Carnival Couture'

This is everything you get with the set:

- 1 nail polish in the shade 'kiss chase'
- 1 bottle of glue
- 1 plastic nail wheel
- 30 foil sheets in 6 different shades

There's already one nail done on the wheel because I practised one as soon as I got it but then I thought I'd write a blog post telling you guys about it :)

Even though the set comes with instructions I still thought writing about it would be fun.
I'm going to use Sinful Colours in the shade 'be happy' and the holographic foil sheet.

First you want to paint your nails your chosen colour and wait for them to dry!
(putting your fingertips in the freezer or ice cold water helps them dry fast)

Then you're going to put glue on the nail where you want thee foil to show up and leave it until its tacky and clear.

When the glue is tacky, you need to put the foil on top of the nail and press down really hard.
Also, it's important to have the pattern side facing upwards!

When you've pressed down you need to pull it off backwards like a wax strip and it will leave the foil behind on the nail!

Now you just want to seal the foil in place with a clear top coat nail polish.
I just use the Barry M topcoat, basecoat and nail hardener.

It's so quick and easy and looks so nice when it's finished. You can even mix and match your foil colours on one nail!

This is a close up of both the nails I did on the provided nail wheel:

I think this is the type of nail art that everyone will be asking ''how did you do that!?'' but it's really not difficult to do and theres so many foil sheets, it'll take ages to run out!

I hope you enjoyed this post and now I will leave this link
right here just incase anyone wants to go and buy a set!

I hope you enjoyed reading this!
